The brief

Mira makes plant-based skincare in small batches in Toronto. The founders were moving from hand-written labels to retail shelves and needed packaging that felt as gentle as the products.

Design direction

Every carton shares one layout: an italic wordmark, a single-line plant drawing and small monospace text. Colour does the sorting, with sage, blush and bone marking cleansers, oils and balms.

Production

Cartons are printed on recycled board with a soft-touch finish; the dieline was designed so all five sizes come from two sheet layouts, which kept the first print run affordable.

Output

5 products

One layout and three colours sort the whole range.

Studio note

The colour sorts the shelf. The type stays quiet.
