The brief

Greenway Land Trust protects forests, wetlands and farmland north of Toronto. Its yearly report goes to donors, volunteers and partners, and most of them read it in a few minutes.

Design direction

Each spread leads with one big number and a single chart. Contour lines from the trust’s own maps run across the cover and section openers, and two greens plus one lime keep the charts readable.

Production

Printed on FSC-certified recycled paper with a lime spot colour, and exported as an accessible PDF with tagged charts and alt text.

Output

4,820 acres

A 40-page report where every spread leads with one clear number.

Studio note

One number per spread. Then explain it.
